The hardware pieces come to me rusty, bent and sometimes caked with "gunk".  

My trusty Dremel tool and I get a real workout preparing the hardware pieces  for jewelry design! I wire brush the rust, drill holes where needed, use the cutting wheel to remove various bits and pieces. Sometimes I even get out my small sledge hammer to loosen a stubborn screw or straighten out a piece.

I paint some pieces and others I just give a light coat of sealer so rust doen't rub off on your clothes.

I want my customers to have as much fun "wearing their hardware" as I have making this hardware jewelry.
